The shining light in the corner and the sparkles make this scene fit for a jolly Christmas story. The faded trees behind the bird and the blurred, rushing snow add depth and life to this. I can imagine it is a great chilly wind carrying all that snow, but this bird nonetheless appears joyful and comfortable on that branch.
What kind of bird is it? It looks like some sort of dove. The colour of its feathers are harmonious with the background and mood, and the leaf caught on its wing adds to the impression of the snowy wind.
